The Dallas - Ft. Worth Metroplex Chapter of NIGP serves the needs and interests of public sector procurement professionals throughout the Dallas - Ft. Worth area.

As a chapter of NIGP, The Institute for Public Procurement, our mission and activities are focused on:

• Raising and maintaining the standards and ethics of all governmental purchasing and materials management departments, agencies and organizations.
• Studying, recommending and aiding in implementation of improvements in the field of endeavor to obtain the optimum value of products and services without prejudice.
• Promotion and fostering of the professional competence and stature of all persons engaged in this profession through the encouragement of professional certification.
• Engendering a professional attitude on the part of all members to accomplish their missions with loyalty to their organization and with fairness to all.
